How To Make Apple Cinnamon Whey Protein Bars
Ingredients:
Dry:
2 cups of Core Whey Active Vanilla Click here to buy the best tasting Protein (Whey Active Vanilla) or call us at 903-939-9232 for even better deals.
1 & 1/2 cups of oatmeal - grind it down to powder (should be about 1 cup once it is done)
Cinnamon and Splenda (or other no calorie sweetener) to taste *I used 2/3 cup Splenda
Wet:
1 & 1/3 cups of natural, unsweetened apple sauce
2/3 cup of almond (or soy) milk
1/3 cup of egg whites
Directions
Mix all dry ingredients in a large bowl
Slowly add wet ingredients until all is combined and you have a nice cake-like batter
Coat a cake or bread pan with cooking spray or cover with tin foil
Pour batter and bake @ 275 until the center is cooked to the desired firmness
*Because the only eggs in this batter are egg whites you don’t have to worry about undercooking and getting sick (only egg yolks bring a fear of Salmonella poisoning) if you want your bars more chewy don’t cook for very long.
Depending also on the size of your pan the bars will be thinker or thinner. Mine took about 20 minutes but just keep an eye on them

Weight Loss Help in Tyler, TX at Purebody Nutrition 903-939-9232
There are a lot of places to get weight loss help. It seems every other commercial is offering the answer. You have been to the gym and seem to always hit a plateau. You've tried a lot supplements and while some work, they seem to give out after a while.
At PureBody Nutrition (www.purebodynutrition.net and at 6747 S. Broadway in Tyler, TX) we offer a lot of different things, but the best thing we offer is help. YES our supplements work! (btw, searching for the best product means sampling about 1000 different proteins a year.....996 of those taste terrible (think Walmart protein) or have something wrong with them (Intek Protein)
4. We support local schools, organizations and charities. We match internet prices with no argument, but just know that the internet company is not supporting your local schools. The competitor down the street is not giving to the local food bank. That TV infomercial is not writing a check to sponsor local athletes. We have been blessed in this community and we know the best way to stay humble is to give back, so we do.
5. We offer complete nutrition for the entire family. We have something for everyone in the family, from safe supplements to grow a healthy baby during pregnancy, to sweet treats to boost your little ones immune system during the school year, to the mom who needs to drop a few inches and of course for the Dad wanting to bulk up. Oh and we almost for got, we have an anti-aging section for those that refuse to grow old!
We love East Texas and there is no other place we would have rather opened our business. It is the most beautiful place on earth and home to the friendliest people. Turkey, Desserts, Christmas ahhh!
Ok I know some are freaking out Thanksgiving is just around the corner and that means Desserts! Yummy delicious desserts that you don't want to think about, because it will all go to my butt and it is the season to gain weight.
If you are the person I described above don't freak out you can actually start your weight loss plan now! Don't wait till after Thanksgiving or Christmas to diet start now so that when Thanksgiving turns around you can have a cheat day! Yep, I said it a cheat day!
So here is what I suggest. That you eat clean for 6 days and on the 7th day you go wild! The first 6 days you concentrate on protein, greens and a few carbs. For Breakfast cook up 3 egg whites and one whole egg ( you can scramble or over medium/easy works too) make sure you spray your pan with PAM, no butter! You can even add a slice of lean sausage if you would like, glass of low fat milk even. 3 hours after that before lunch, a mid morning snack, have a piece of fruit or a greek yogurt. Lunch time I like sandwiches but we have to do without the bread so how about a lettuce wrap/ or a whole wheat tortilla with some grilled chicken, lettuce, and a spritz or two of the spray dressing, no chips! Then 3 hours after lunch about 3pm when our body is starving, I like a yummy Core Active Whey protein shake with a little PB2 (powder peanut butter) and you have a delicious sinful snack. Dinner Grilled Fish, with green beans or peas, brown rice and if still hungry at bedtime enjoy another shake!
Now the good part, Cheat Day! Enjoy sausage, biscuits and bagels for breakfast(try to get some protein too), Enjoy those Christmas Desserts, basically eat what you want because you were good during the week-you reward yourself. By doing this you will be tired and may need to take a nap because you have not had junk for awhile, but your body needs a break and you do too mentally!
Don't be one of those, "Oh my gosh look what I ate" at christmas time, enjoy the holidays because you started the week out healthy!

Texas Spring/Summer Training: Staying Safe!
Looked at the thermometer lately? It's HOT, not just in Texas but all over the U.S. We are breaking records on our smoothie sales at PureBody Nutrition, which tells me it's record breaking temperatures outside. So here are some supplements that can help keep you from falling into the danger zone of heat exhaustion of worse.

We do not mess around about the truthfulness of supplements and frankly if you aren't getting enough water, all the supplements in the world will not save you from dehydration. Spring Showers Keeping You Indoors? Try This Effective Indoor Workout!
In Texas there is no doubt that even in the driest of springs, like we are having now, there is still a strong chance of the spring thunderstorm. Do not let these thunderclouds lead to a break in the regular exercise routine. It takes a consistent twenty one days to build a good habit, but only a few days to break it, so do not allow a thunder cloud have you crying "Oh bother" and looking like Winnie the Pooh.
Here is a quick and simple workout you can do while in your house or at your office. This will not only boost your metabolism, but will no doubt burn off the extra peeps you ate during Easter. Do these consectively without any rest inbetween each exercise or at the most take thirty seconds of rest. When you reach number eight, take two minutes to rest and drink water. If you cannot reach the number given, do the most you can and always push yourself.
- Twenty-five jumping jacks
- Twenty walking or in place lunges
- Fifteen pushups (knees on floor are acceptable if you are not used to push ups)
- Twenty-five bicycle kicks
- Twenty prisoner Squats (hands behind head and perform a basic squat)
- Fifteen to twenty crunches.
- Twenty side-step lunges. (10 on each side)
- Twenty-five scissor jumping jacks (go forward and back, like scissors with your legs instead of out and in)

Repeat this 3 to 5 times.
As with any workout consume a quality protein shake of your choice. What you do after the workout is just as important as what you do during the workout.
